Goose Paste® is a curated flock of unapologetically opaque, true-color resin pigment pastes that were hand-tested, fussed over, and only chosen if they behaved beautifully in real projects.

I didn’t set out to build a giant brand. I set out to build the lineup I could never find on the shelf.

What is Goose Paste®?

Goose Paste® is a house line of opaque resin pigment pastes designed for:

  • High-impact color that actually reads in resin

  • Smooth, creamy application without gritty or chalky weirdness

How Goose Paste® was born

I didn’t wake up one day and decide to stir mystery pigments in a cauldron in my kitchen.

Instead, I did what a lot of makers do (but took it way too far): I tested a ridiculous number of samples from multiple suppliers and rejected anything that didn’t meet the bar.

No guessing. No “good enough.”
If it streaked, separated, or ghosted out in resin, it didn’t make the cut.

Goose Paste® is built from:

  • Suppliers who could consistently meet my non-negotiables for opacity and performance

  • Shades chosen for how they behave in real artwork, not just in a swatch photo

  • Collections curated around vibe + function, so you can build palettes without overthinking

    Goose Paste® is meant to show up. Even softer shades are still rich and present in resin.

  • We talk about pairing, not muddy mixing.
    These pastes are designed to pair with alcohol inks and mica/pigment powders to add depth and dimension while keeping their own identity.

  • No glitter, no holo, no confusion.
    Runway Flock™ = refined micro-shimmer.
    Gilded Goose™ = metallic sheen.
    Shifty Flock™ = color shift.
    If it glows, shifts, or sparkles, we say so clearly.

About Painted Goose Studio

Painted Goose Studio is the nest behind Goose Paste®.

It started as one maker in a small studio juggling:

  • Teaching

  • Family

  • Resin pieces

  • Late-night “what if I…” experiments

…and grew into:

  • A studio brand

  • A full pigment paste line

  • A slightly unhinged but very loving community of makers lovingly known as Flockers

Around here you’ll see:

  • References to “the nest,” “flights,” and “the Goose-iverse”

  • A mascot goose who absolutely did not choose the glam life but is living it anyway

  • A mix of technical detail and unfiltered, “I’m your crafty friend, not a corporate robot” energy

Painted Goose Studio is still small, still personal, and very much still run by the same Goose who answers DMs with paste and resin on her hands and in her hair.
